On 22nd July 2012 at 3.30pm a dozen members of the "Reclaim Shakespeare Company" theatrical action group staged a surprise protest inside the British Museum performing a Shakespeare parody with three BP "executive witches" luring a naive museum director to his doom.<br />

Reclaim Shakespeare criticised the British Museum, the World Shakespeare Festival and the London Olympics for accepting sponsorship from BP in the wake of the Deepwater Horizon drilling disaster and the company's decision to start extracting highly polluting and destructive tar sands oil in Canada.
