Students marched angrily and noisily from Trafalgar Square on a winding route stretching from Victoria through the West End to the Barbican and back to Trafalgar square in a third day of student protests against plans to raise tuition fees in England. After the march across London, demonstrators returned to Trafalgar Square where protests continued watched by a ring of police.
